Saleh Mohammad returned to Bangkok on Tuesday to be honoured for potting a 147 break. The break was recorded at the 24th Asian Snooker Championship 2008, in Dubai earlier this month.

The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) have arranged a welcoming reception too honour the cue star for his achievement. Mohammad apparently received a generous cash award for registering the first ever 147 break in 24 years of The Asian Snooker Championship.
Ali Ashgar, President of the PBSA commented that,
‘The PBSA has done it in the past as well. We approach the patrons of sports and convince them to recognise the cueists for bringing laurels for the country.
Ashgar explained how Saleh’s commemorated 147 break has brought in a generous amount of award money...
‘The Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports (ACBS) has already presented him with a special cash award of US $1,000, whilst the UAE Billiards and Snooker Association gave him US $5,000, besides presenting him with a watch worth 5000 Dirham for Saleh’s perfect break of 147.’
