Dragon Promotions Announce Predator 10-Ball Championship
Billiards premier organisers Dragon Promotions have just announced the 9th annual Predator International 10-ball Championship. The anticipated event will run from May11-16 in Las Vegas, Riviera Hotel & Casino.
The BCA pool league will be hosting the tournament alongside the BCAPL National 8-Ball Championships. Dragon Promotions are increasing the competition by entering 112 players compared to last year’s 96.
Karim Belhaj – CEO of Predator Group commented on the upcoming event.
‘Predator Group and Dragon promotions have been building up to this event for years and we are really pleased at the level it has reached thus far. The players from around the world love this event and it’s become one of the premier titles in the world to win. The BCAPL has also been an excellent host and partner in the event and we look forward to even bigger and better things in the future.’
The event, supported by Predator Cues will see players from all over the world. Competitors will represent Countries from Germany, India, Sweden, England, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Australia, Finland, Hong Kong, Norway, Pakistan, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Curacao, Venezuela, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Austria, Hungary, Netherlands, Italy, Malta, and the USA.
‘We’ve had such a big turnout the past two years with the ninety six player field filling up so quickly,’ said Cindy Lee of Dragon Promotions.
‘We all wanted to include more women in the field this year, so these factors led us to expand to one hundred and twelve players. If we had the room and time we would do more, but that’s something to think about for the future.’
Dragon Promotions are responsible for over forty events per year. Events include the Women’s 10-Ball Championship, The World 14.1 Championship, The Predator International 10-Ball Championship, King & Queen of Carom, Empress Cup, and Korea V’s USA, to name a few.
