PartyPoker.com Presents The 8-Ball National Championship

The BCA National Championships are just weeks away and some of the biggest pool stars in the world will be battling it out for the title of World Pool Master.

The BCA are proud to announce that they will be host to the PartyPoker.com World Masters which is to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event, which is being held in the Untied States for the first time will consist of 16 of the best ranked players in the world.

The pool extravaganza is produced by Matchroom Sport and will be held at the Royale Pavillion of the Riviera Hotel on May 9th – 11th.

The BCA are representing 16 of the most highly skilled pool professionals in the world, who will be playing the game of sudden death until one remains to take the title of World Pool Master. Matchroom Sport Chairman Barry Hearn predicts that this will be a tough competition.

‘With four World 9-Ball champions and a host of other title holders in the field, I believe that this is the toughest ever World Pool Masters.’

Current champion Daryl Peach (UK) Shane Van Boeing (USA) and Mika Immonen (Finland) are just a few of the superstars who will be competing for the pool championship. Mark Griffin from the BCA Pool League said,

‘Our players love professional action. This is the first time the masters has been held on US soil. We are honoured Matchroom has chosen us. It’s been a tradition to entertain the thousands of BCA Pool league members who travel the globe to compete in our national 8-ball Championships, this year will be no different.’

All players will be competing for the top prize of $20,000 with the runner-up receiving $10,000.
