The Saurabh Khatter Memorial Billiards and Snooker Championship saw number three seed Vishal Gupta ease through to the pre-quarter finals this past Sunday.
The session was held at the Chandigarh Club, Sector one in Chandigarh. Gupta defeated Saurav Narula 69-27, 54-28 to secure his place in the upcoming round.

Billiards premier organisers Dragon Promotions have just announced the 9th annual Predator International 10-ball Championship. The anticipated event will run from May11-16 in Las Vegas, Riviera Hotel & Casino.

The women’s World 10-Ball Championship has finally been sanctioned by the World Pool & Billiards Association (WPBA). The organisers have also moved the date to ensure the tournament goes ahead.

The women’s Billiards World 10-Ball Championship has been announced recently by Dragon Promotions. The star promoters will host 48 worldwide players who will pot it out till one of them is announced the first ever Women’s 10-Ball Champion.

Habib Subah and Ahmed Ghuloom are set to compete in the upcoming Bahrain Snooker Championship – the first world-ranking tournament to take place in the Middle-East.
The Bahrain duo have respectfully earned their chance to play after becoming victorious in a recent qualifying tournament, organised by the Bahrain Billiards and Snooker Association (BBSA).

Alex Pagulayan failed to claim a win against Wu Chi-Ching of Chinese Taipei 9-6 during the semi-finals of the Guinness 9-Ball tour last Sunday in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In another upset, world number one Dennis Orcollo lost to Yang Ching-Shun in the RP Taiwan semi-finals.
The final match in Jakarta saw Yang out potting Wu 11-9 to secure a win.

Ronnie Alcano failed to notch up enough winning racks at the 33rd Annual US Open 9-Ball Championships last Sunday – held at the Chesapeake Convention Center in Virginia. Alcano failed to perform to his best ability as Mika Immonen seized the final, winning with 13-7.
